Charitable Giving and Sponsorship Guidelines

The Sam Swope Auto Group appreciates the opportunity to give back to our community. We receive many requests and as such have established guidelines to assist individuals and organizations.

Requests meeting as many of the following guidelines as possible may be considered:

• The event or project is held locally, is organized by a local chapter or organization, and benefits or has long term impact on the Louisville metropolitan community as a whole
• The event or project benefits local, non-profit organization(s) with 501(c)(3) status
• The event or project offers printed recognition to our company
• The event or project offers the opportunity for our company to advertise our products (such as the display of vehicles)
• Requests must be received in writing a minimum of four (4) weeks in advance to insure our company has adequate time to budget and prepare to insure a successful partnership

The following types of requests may not be considered:

• Sponsorship of individuals in their individual pursuits (such as travel or pageants)
• Sponsorship of individuals or groups for travel purposes
• School (public, private, or parochial) fundraising events, including athletic team sponsorships or school yearbooks
• Events, programs, or fundraisers with religious affiliations
• Events, programs, or fundraisers with political affiliation
• Donation of a vehicle

All requests should be sent in writing with any supporting documentation to:
